So, it's now just over a year ago that I officially launched Pakawow.

Anniversaries are a great time to reflect, and I have taken pause to do just that in the last week.

I have had some amazing moments, and it has been very humbling to be a part of some precious moments in people's lives through my sewing. I am very thankful that they chose to invite me into those moments in their lives.

The highlight of this year for me has to be knowing a baby was getting blessed in one of my gowns, that felt pretty special.

My side project of repairing and decorating the old treadle machine I learnt to sew on as a child has to come in second. It felt really good to bring it back to life.

As well as the highs there have of course been lows. It turns out that getting people to even know my website even exists is harder than I thought. I've discovered that in website settings is a plethora of links and the like that I still am trying to work out and discovering new pieces to the SEO settings each time I have a look so I'm learning heaps.

Coming up to renewal time I wasn't even sure we would make it past year one for a moment, but then this amazing woman got hold of me with a sewing job for her Cafe' which was just enough to drag it over the line.

So far has it been worth it?

Absolutely. There's something really amazing about getting to create that special item for the moments that pack a wow in people's lives, and of course just clothes that pack a wow.

So, with year One complete, it's time to really dive into the adventure that is Pakawow.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the adventure so far.
